Male Brain Power and Phentermine!Could Phentermine be the missing link between curing male obesity and stimulating their brains? Well, the answer is yes and no. If you are trying to cure the health issue then yes. But a recent clinical trial showed how being overweight can increase the risk of mental decline in men. The study was published in the February issue of the International Journal of Obesity. The findings were that obesity works independently - along with other risk factors - diminishing thinking ability, memory, learning, and making it more difficult for brains to function at peak levels over time. According to researchers, the first major study to show that obesity alone might decrease brain power. But with weight loss pills like Phentermine that stimulate the brain and provide energy, there's no need for the connection between obesity and a low IQ to become the next burgeoning epidemic. Previous research has demonstrated how conditions commonly associated with obesity, like high blood pressure and heart disease, can reduce brain power. Although, researchers like Dr. Merrill Elias were not surprised by the findings, he reports: "The results indicated that persons who are chronically obese have a higher risk of lowered mental ability " However, researchers are more disturbed by the "epidemic of obesity". Could this growing number parlay into the number of mentally challenged American men? According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), nearly 20% of American adults -- about 40 million are obese. The definition of obese: a body mass index (BMI), a measure of weight in proportion to height of 30 or above.) The research was not gender bias, either. The study analyzed information gathered from 551 men and 872 women over an 18-year period. The research started during the Framingham Heart Study in 1948. It looked at how obesity and high blood pressure affected scores on mental performance tests over time. The research found that obesity and high blood pressure -- both alone and in combination -- had a negative effect on brain power in men but not in women. Researchers attribute this brain-less power for men because they tend to accumulate fat in their midsection rather than in other parts of the body. Previous studies have shown that this type of apple-shaped fat distribution carries a much higher degree of health risks than the pear-shaped fat distribution --- more common in women. For overweight men looking for an effective way to shed their apple shaped excess, weight loss pills could be the double solution for their growing problem. Phentermine brands like Adipex and Ionamin are the missing links for male brain power and weight management because it can simultaneously, jumpstart your brain while shedding unwanted pounds.
Case studies prove that the melt away pill, Xenical is not just another weight loss pill. Aside from drastically reducing weight, it offers the benefits of lowered cholesterol and blood pressure in a cardiovascular-friendly way. In response to the recent controversy surrounding weight loss pills, several global clinical studies have been conducted. In the first series of randomized studies, 430 Xenical patients were treated. The study was devised of male and female subjects prescribed Xenical twice a day. Half of their diets were reduced by 500 calories; while the other half reduced their caloric intake by 1000. According to Hermann Toplak, researcher at the Karl-Franzens Univeristat in Austria, the first 12 weeks of treatment, showed an 83% "clinically significant" weight reduction for the participants. In fact, at least 5% of their body weight was shed. During the first 4 weeks, blood pressure was notably improved. The 2-blood pressure readings dropped by 1.3 and 2.6 points. The clinical study found that after 12 weeks, the average weight loss was 7% of body weight. And, blood pressure levels dropped after 12 weeks by 3 and 4.3 points. In another study, by Aila Rissanen of Helsinki University Hospital, the success rate of Xenical in helping people maintain weight loss over a 2-year period was tested. The study monitored overweight or obese adults. Half took Xenical. The other half was given a placebo drink along with a mildly reduced caloric-intake for 2-years. The study's findings were that the Xenical patients lost 11% of body weight after 2 years. The Xenical patients also showed "significantly greater" cardiovascular benefits. Rissanen reports that subjects taking the weight-loss drug reduced their total cholesterol by 9%. And reductions in blood pressure were noted, as well. For diabetes, Markholf Hanefel, MD tested Xenical. "Achieving sufficient weight loss is a vital first step in the treatment for people with type 2 diabetes. Less than 10% of people with type 2 diabetes are able to achieve sufficient weight loss through diet alone," stipulated Hanefeld. His clinical research involved overweight people with type 2 diabetes. All subjects were treated with a mildly reduced low-fat diet. Either Xenical or a placebo pill was given to more than 360 people for a year. Once again, the results of the study verified the benefits of Xenical. The Xenoical group saw more slimmed waistline, by dropping an average of 12 pounds, twice the weight that the people taking the placebo. The majority of people using Xenical in their weight program did not experience any adverse affects. The drug produced significant drops in blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure. Furthermore, the patients were able to cut back on their diabetes medications. Xenical is more than a short-term wonder for weight loss. According to Dr. Charles Billington, Associate Director of the Minnesota Obesity Center in Rochester, "It seems to be helpful not just in the short-term -- but also helpful for a year or two years." For the person suffering from uncontrollable weight, Xenical is the weight loss solution that will kill 2 health issues in one prescription. |
